Chapel Hill High School senior Ryan Rosamond closed out his golfing career at Chapel Hill when he finished 59th out of 84 competitors in the NCHSAA 3A state championship at Foxfire golf club in Pinehurst, last week.

Rosamond shot a cumulative two-day score of 171 at the event.

“It had always been a goal of mine to play in the state championship and to compete against some of the best talent around,” Rosamond said. “Being able to make it to the state championship rounds was a great way to finish out my high school golf career.”

Rosamond earned a spot in the state tournament after he finished 9th in the 3A Mideast regional with a score of 79.
