Have you ever had a problem deciding whether to wear a nice outfit or more comfortable clothing? Do you worry what is comfortable may not be stylish? Fashion is an ever-changing construct. Each season brings its own unique fashion style. With a few more weeks of winter, it’s a time stay warm and cozy.

Here are some tips from Chapel Hill High School students on what to wear to keep warm and stay stylish.

“One really good thing for both boys and girls to wear is sweatpants. They are nice, comfortable and warm for the winter season,” freshman Carolina Hernandez (left) said.

“Don’t be stupid, wear a coat,” junior Divine Pipkins said.

“Wear hoodies or a scarf and don’t wear black on black,” freshman Lucy Quintero Quiroz said.

“Don’t wear shorts. Wear thick clothing that will keep you warm but also put out a fashion statement,” senior J.J. Hayes said.

“I like old-fashioned things and blending [them] with a modern sensibility. For the winter season, you could wear a pea coat or overcoat,” senior Jason Glover said.
